Using Redirects to Guide Your Kajabi Visitors to Where You Want Them to Go

If you’re using Kajabi to run your online business, you’re probably aware of how beneficial redirects can be. A Kajabi redirect ensures that visitors get from point A to point B without any fuss or confusion.

Redirecting leads visitors to the page or area of your website that you want them to land on. That way, they can find what they’re looking for without having to search or navigate through your website. It also eliminates the possibility of them being confused and heading down the wrong path.

Redirection is just one of the many tools available to you as an online business owner. Today, I’m going to cover what redirects are, why you should use them on your Kajabi site, and how to implement them.

What Are Redirects?

Redirects are, quite simply, instructions your server sends out to search engines and visitors on your site indicating that they’ve reached the wrong page. It immediately sends them to a different page, one with the most relevant content that the visitor was looking for.

You can redirect visitors to a different page on your website or to an entirely different website, depending on where you want them to go. For example, you can set up a redirect if you decide to move your blog to a new domain. When someone attempts to visit your old blog address, they would be immediately redirected to your new domain.

Redirects also help you keep your visitors (and customers) on your website, so you can control their experience from start to finish.

Why You Should Use Redirects on Kajabi

Redirects are very useful for Kajabi users – here’s why:

  • They help you keep visitors engaged on your Kajabi site and provide them with relevant content.
  • They make your site easier to navigate by allowing visitors and search engines to find the specific content they’re looking for quickly and easily.
  • They help you keep track of visitors and their interests, plus give you insights into their behaviors.

Using redirects on Kajabi can also help you:

  • Deliver a better customer experience. By redirecting visitors to the right page, you can help them find what they’re looking for quickly and easily. This ensures that they have a pleasant experience on your site and can find the specific content or product they’re interested in.
  • Improve your SEO. Redirects help search engine bots understand which page on your site is pertinent to a certain query, and they can give you a better ranking in the search engine pages. This can help bring more organic traffic to your site.
  • Prevent visitors from landing on an error page. When visitors attempt to visit a URL on your Kajabi site and you haven’t set up a redirect, they may land on a 404 error page. They may then assume the page is unavailable, or worse, that your whole site is down. Redirects help make sure your visitors stay on the right track.

How to Set Up Redirects on Kajabi

Setting up redirects on Kajabi is incredibly simple. First, go to the ‘Settings’ tab in your dashboard. Next, select the ‘Redirects’ option.

Once you’re in the Redirects page, you’ll see a list of redirects you’ve already set up. You can also create new redirects from this page.

To create a new redirect, all you have to do is select ‘Create’ in the top right corner. A new page will appear and you’ll be asked to enter the ‘From’ and ‘To’ URLs.

In the ‘From’ field, enter the URL of the page you want visitors to be redirected from. The ‘To’ field is where you enter the URL of the page you want visitors to be redirected to. Once you’ve filled out both fields, click the ‘Create’ button and the redirect will be created.

Conclusion
